William Flynt and Jeannie Clarke Fisher in Concert

Lord of Life Lutheran Church Fine Arts/Concert Series presents the musical stylings of Jeannie Clarke Fisher, vocalist, and William Flynt, pianist, on Saturday, 15 October at 7pm. They will be joined by baritone Dave Kuhn in a program of popular music from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Focusing particularly on the lighter music of the 1920s and 1930s, the program will consist of excerpts from some of George Gershwin’s popular Broadway shows, the more classically-based “Song of Norway” based on themes of Edward Grieg, selections from Franz Lehar’s “The Merry Widow” and “The Waltz Dream” as well as other well known songs.

Ms Fisher and Mr Flynt perform frequently throughout North Texas for churches, symphonies and other musical organizations, with their monthly performances at the famous and historic Lakewood Theatre becoming increasingly popular.
