Ministries I-L:
Information Technology - The Minister
of Information Technology is a skilled volunteer
who is responsible for directing the use of
computers and data communication technology to
support the mission and ministry of Lord of Life
Lutheran Church. The MIT is assisted by other
church members with experience in technology,
accomplishing varied duties including
networking, researching the cost-effectiveness
of upgrades, operating our church sound system,
and maintaining our web site. Contact:

Instrumental Soloists and Ensembles -
Lord of Life has been blessed with much
musical talent among its own members. Worship
services frequently benefit from the musical
experience of adults and youth alike who play
instruments ranging from guitar, trumpet,
trombone, cello and flute. Fred Bernhardt,
Instrumental Ensembles Coordinator, directs and
rehearses these musicians.

Kitchen Angels - Kitchen Angels
are volunteers who keep our main kitchen clean,
orderly and stocked for the hospitality and
fellowship ministry of the church. Our kitchen
is the crossroads for members and guests, young
and old. Kitchen Angels help provide a welcoming
atmosphere for all, through good maintenance and
organization. Contact: Church Office.
Library Volunteers - Lord of Life
has a modest collection of reading materials,
videos and audiotapes available for the use of
our members. Volunteers for the Library are
needed to assist in organizing materials,
tracking loans, and processing donations.

L.C.E.F. (Lutheran Church Extension Fund)
- The LCEF provides investment opportunities
for our church family. These investments are
used as the seed capital for loans to churches
for capital improvement programs. Our church is
one of the many beneficiaries of that program.
LCEF also provides services to assist churches
with their building programs. Contact:

L.I.N.C. -
Lutheran Inter-City Network Coalition is
a D/FW area-wide ministry, which seeks to bring
the Gospel to ethnic minorities in our Metroplex.
Lord of Life actively supports this ministry
through offerings and representation on
L.I.N.C.'s Board of Directors. Contact:

L.W.M.L. - "Women in Mission," our
local society of the
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League,
meets monthly, usually the second Tuesday at
7:00 pm, at the church. LWML is active in
promoting and supporting missions and social
ministries in the community and around the
world. A confidential prayer chain is available
for crisis prayer needs. The meetings include
times for spiritual growth and establishing
