Outreach - The Board of Outreach
exists to help equip each member of Lord of Life
to be a witness in this world for Jesus Christ.
Outreach oversees the
Greeters Ministry, and coordinates other
community events designed to draw people into
Christian fellowship. The Board of Outreach also
places advertisements in local newspapers and
area publications regarding church activities.
An English Second
Language (ESL) program is in progress at
Lord of Life. Contact:

Spiritual Gifts - As Paul wrote to
the church at Corinth: "…there are varieties
of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are
varieties of ministries, and the same Lord.
And there are varieties of effects, but the
same God who works all things in all persons.
But to each one is given the manifestation of
the Spirit for the common good." (1 Cor.
12:4-7). Our members are called to serve in
a variety of ways, from making coffee between
services, to ushering during services, to
visiting shut-ins or leading a Bible study
class. If you don’t see your favorite ministry
here, the Spirit may be calling you to start
one! Or, if you're wondering what gifts the
Spirit has given you, our
Pastor will be happy to
help you discover them.
Stephen Ministry - Through the
excellent, nationally recognized
Stephen
Ministry training, our church
identifies individuals who offer caring
Christian friendship and concerned listening to
people who are going through a difficult time.

Stewardship Life - The Board of
Stewardship Life works to provide education and
encouragement to every believer regarding the
wise use and sharing of God's blessings. The
stewardship ministry gives special emphasis to
practical Biblical principles for everyday
living, and joy of seeking God's will in all
areas of life. In addition to sponsoring classes
and contests to promote spiritual growth, the
Board directs our annual re-dedication time.

Sunday School - There are Sunday
School opportunities beginning with classes for
two-year-olds (accompanied by a parent) through
senior high youth and adults. We value our
excellent teachers and leaders who provide
nurture and training toward spiritual maturity,
all based on the Bible. Sunday School opening
exercises for children begin at 9:15 am; lessons
begin at 9:30 am.
See the
current Sunday School listings.
