"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least

of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

Lord of Life is strongly committed to missions, both locally and globally, in an effort to reach out to those who hunger for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Many of the Lord of Life mission partnerships are started by members of the congregation.  In 2009 Lord of Life gave more than $107,000, approximately 17.5% of its budget, to missions.  Ten percent of Lord of Life's budget is used to directly support the mission endeavors of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The remaining missions budget is distributed among the mission ministries described in the links on the left side of this page.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church is a Christian community REACHING OUT to bring people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. We understand that our Founder, the Head of the Church, our Savior and Lord, LOVES ALL PEOPLE.

Out of His great love, He gave the church this assignment:

"...Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20 NIV)

Therefore the members of our church family are continually seeking ways to reach our community, state, nation and world with the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do..." (Ephesians 2:8-10)
