Our Purpose:Lord of Life Lutheran Church
is a Christian community of all age groups that
exists for the purpose of bringing people into a
living relationship with Jesus Christ. The Great
Commandment
(John 13:34-35) and Great Commission
(Matthew 28:18-20) will serve as the primary
mandate for staff leaders, and members of the
congregation.
Our Vision:
We will serve Christ in this
mission by:
Reaching Up
to
God in Worship and Prayer -
God the Father has blessed our
congregation with a great gift of music for
worship and praise. This passion for excellence
in music accentuates the message of salvation,
glorifying Him. Our worship is faithful to God's
Holy Word and to the Sacraments of Baptism and
Holy Communion. We remain true to our Lutheran
Church - Missouri Synod tradition and encourage
creative ways of worshiping God. We rely on
prayer when reaching up for God's guidance as we
continue to receive His direction.
Reaching In
to be Empowered by God's Word as
Members of His Family - God the Holy
Spirit is working in our congregation through
education, assimilation, fellowship and caring
for one another. He continues working within our
members to build an exceptionally high level of
involvement. Our vision genuinely seeks to bring
people into a closer relationship with their
Lord by teaching the Word in educational
settings such as Sunday School, Bible Studies,
and CARE Groups.
Reaching Out at
every opportunity with the Gospel of Christ -
God the Son, Jesus Christ, has given
us an incredible gift of salvation to share with
others locally and globally. We seek to grow His
kingdom through personal witnessing, through our
caring attention to guests and through reaching
out to address the spiritual needs in our
community. With prayer and offerings we reach
out through our Fine Arts Concert Series,
partnerships with Dallas/Fort Worth ministries
and commitment to global missions projects.
